MakerTrak has no accounts. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to sign in to.

Your materials, purchases, formulas and batches are stored in the app on your iPhone.

Formulas are encrypted on the device. The key is kept in the phone's keychain.

MakerTrak runs no server that receives or stores that data.

The app is included in whatever iPhone backup you have set up, either iCloud or a computer.

When you import an invoice, the parsing happens on the phone.

When the app fetches a Safety Data Sheet, it requests the sheet from the supplier's website directly, with the material's product code.

When you search the supplier catalog, the search goes to catalog.makertrak.com. That service serves public product listings and stores no user data.

In Sell mode, sales and finished-goods stock are sent to the shop service you connect. Card payments are handled by Stripe through Tap to Pay on iPhone. MakerTrak never sees card numbers.
